HWY B Shadows III

HWY B Shadows III by Michele Wells

As summer transitions into fall, we often feel a sense of melancholy knowing cold dark days are around the corner. It seems nature can sense our trepidation, and to cheer us up, decorates its scenes in the boldest, most eye-catching array of colors we’ll see all year. In Hwy B Shadows, my intention is to show how the reds and oranges of fall complement the greens and yellows of summer, filling our eyes with awe instead of our minds with apprehension. And by bringing in the yellow sky and the blue trees in the distance, I hope my audience feels happiness for the road ahead.
